CHIR is registered as a social enterprise at Department of Planning and Investment in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with signed declaration to donate 100% of its profit to social benefits

Model of Operation

CHIR is inspired by two leading organisations: Institute of Health Improvement (IHI) and The Health Foundation.

Institute for Health Improvement (IHI) – the largest organisation in the field of quality improvement and patient safety. Established in 1986 in the USA, IHI is an independent not-for-profit, supporting, innovating and partnering to improve healthcare worldwide. Revenue from workshops, consulting and training is used for community activities such as free online course, scientific research and open-source tools.

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in UK. The foundation conducts improve projects, research on policies, publishes books, funds research and organises training programs. It is a Key Opinion Leader in international healthcare.

5M Strategy

CHIR purses its vision through finding and scaling evidence-based and systematic solutions in five areas of healthcare.

This strategy will be carried out through five main activities of CHIR. CHIR aims to replicate the business model of IHI in the US, generating income through coaching and consulting projects to support its charitable activities such as free workshops for healthcare professionals and patients, delivering open-access contents and free online courses.
